And it is a logical question...if you think that’s all that happens inside an escape room.

The person who describes an escape room as “find your way out of a locked room” has no idea about what goes on inside an escape room.

And that’s where this blog features in the grand scheme of things - revealing five essential facts about an escape room for the uninitiated.

With those piercing blue eyes, it’s tough NOT being a fan....but, err, I digress.

So you’re a Michael Scofield fan.

You’ve watched him team up with his beloved brother, match wits against the administration of a maximum security prison, and successfully escape Fox River.

And now, you’re given a chance to break out of a maximum security prison.

Does that seem just a teeny bit interesting to you?

That’s what an escape room is all about - giving you a chance to live out a fantasy in real life.

A themed adventure room

The ‘room’ into which you enter is themed - designed to simulate a dramatic situation (like a serial killer’s lair).

There will be clues you need to unearth, puzzles and riddles you need to crack, and obstacles you need to overcome, to gradually find your way out.

You have sixty minutes to escape, failing which…

A safe and secure experience

If you fail to escape the serial killer room within 60 minutes, something terrible happens?
