Family review: Fantastic afternoon at Fox in a Box Dalston. We went to celebrate my 8 year old daughter’s birthday, and she and her friends had a brilliant time. Sara and Hillary were great at looking after us, and were generous with the clues when we really needed them, thank goodness!
What do we have to offer?
For families travelling to or around London this coming school holiday, we will be offering a truly immersive and thrilling experience; we are not as ghastly as the Tower of London or as gruesome as the London Dungeon, but we will surely get your spine-tingling. You have already covered everything from history to art, culture to science this year, so now it is time for something different, and we pride ourselves on raising the bar when it comes to London half term activities.
Here at Fox in a Box, you and your gang will be involved in real-life physical games where players are 'locked' in a room with the pressure rising as the clock ticks away for 60 minutes. You will need to come together as a group to use the elements provided to solve a series of puzzles, find clues and escape!
Family review: I took a group of six 12 year olds for a birthday celebration, and wasn't sure what to expect. But the staff were super friendly and helpful, the escape room (zodiac killer) was great fun and we all had a brilliant time. Definitely recommended.

The Prison Break scenario will have your group working together through an exhilarating escape experience, where they will face tough challenges navigating through top level security. If you are coming with a large group, Prison Break Head to Head is the ideal choice as it runs with 7-12 players working against each other in two rooms.
Family review: Great experience as a family, we loved the whole hour or so that we were there from the moment the door was opened. We did the jail break which was great fun and interactive. We had three children with us who all contributed equally to us completing the game and ultimately meaning we didn’t appear on the hall of shame! Well done fox in a box, go team basfamrox! The Zodiac Killer is the ideal game for first time players. You know the instant the door slams behind you that bad things could happen if you do not escape in time – will your crew escape his clutches, or will they be added to his list of victims?
The Bunker is the toughest of all our rooms. Your bunch will be put into a nuclear bunker at the exact moment a launch sequence is initiated. They will need to work together to figure out how to take control of this nuclear disaster, and save the world!
Family review: What a great experience. The whole family enjoyed the experience. This is the first time I’ve been and will definitely visit again. The clues were subtle and encouraged us to use our brain power and we laughed our way throughout. I would highly recommend this Fox in a Box if you’re looking for a family bonding experience.
All our scenarios are suitable for children 8+; parents and guardians just call or email beforehand in order to custom tailor each experience to ensure maximum satisfaction, so your kids can walk away with an immersive experience they’ll never forget. Children aged 14 and under must have at least one adult present in the room. Under 18's must have an adult sign the waiver on their behalf but the adult does not need to be present in the room.
