OK, let’s back up a bit. One of our most popular experiences is our Prison Break scenario. Here’s how it goes down. You and your group have been sentenced to life behind bars and, like the dirty rotten scoundrels you are, you’re hell-bent on escaping.
Head-to-Head mode is the evolution of this, the next step forward in the escape room experience. This time, you’re not playing for a place at the top of the high score list; you’re battling with another motley crew of felons for your freedom.
The winner gets to go home scot-free, and the loser… well, if we told you we’d have to lock you up as well!
Sounds cool! How does it work?
Glad you asked! Our Head to Head experience works best with large groups of between 7-12 players. If your group is smaller than that, our Prison Break experience is perfect. Once you divide yourself into two teams, each team will be taken to their cells, locked up and the clock will start.
Using all your collective brain power (and maybe a hearty helping of luck) you’ll battle it out, solving puzzles and riddles until one team has found the way out.
Great, but I want to take the whole squad. Can we all come?
Of course, the more the merrier! The head-to-head experience runs best with a maximum of 12 people but if you’ve got an office-load of co-workers in need of some great team building or a party bus full of stags and hens in need of a good time, we’ve got you covered too!
You can take advantage of our ‘private hire’ room where you hire out the experience for a few hours or the entire day! We then stagger the games so that whilst one group is fighting for their freedom, the other can relax in our Private Hire Lounge.
This boasts snacks, drinks and a variety of game consoles so you can keep the friendly competition going all day. We’ve had several big parties come and play with us, so we’re well-accustomed to providing escape rooms in London.
We pride ourselves in gifting the best day out in London, or, should we say, the best day in! We’ve seen it all; from competing hen parties to a pair of identical twins that brawled for the birthday bragging rights!
Also, we can tailor the game to suit a range of needs, from removing adult references and jump scares to accessibility. However, your team plays, and we’re ready to set it up.
Being in prison’s not really my vibe, what else do you have?
In addition to our Prison Break scenario, we also have two other themed rooms that provide their own unique challenges. Obviously, you still have to escape, but they both require a different way of thinking and an ability to think on your feet.
First, The Bunker. Picture it: the nuclear missiles are launched, the world is in panic, and you have exactly one hour to prevent global annihilation. Sounds intense, doesn’t it?
That’s because it is. Bunker is one of our trickiest missions and demands a dynamic team of code-crackers to solve. Think you’re up to the task? Come and have a go if you think you’re sharp enough!
And for the more macabre among you, we have Zodiac Killer. San Francisco’s least-favourite son is back to terrorise you and your group; can you thwart his tricks and escape before he adds you to his list? This game is ideal for first-time players and a little more forgiving than Bunker, but the consequences for not escaping are far worse.
