CORPORATE ESCAPE ROOM LONDON: TAKE YOUR TEAM ON AN EPIC ADVENTURE

Your aim may be to work on team dynamics or boost staff morale.

For the team? Well, chances are they just want to have lots of fun with their colleagues and get a break from their desks.

The great news is that we at Fox in a Box have teamed up with award-winning learning and development consultancy, AKD Solutions to make sure everyone’s box is ticked when it comes to giving you everything you could possibly need in a corporate team-building event.

Offering a range of training and development strategies set against the thrilling backdrop of our legendary escape rooms in Dalston, our game masters will ensure your training goals are met in the most engaging way possible.

Why Choose Escape Rooms for Corporate Team Building?

The collaborative nature of escape rooms - working together to solve puzzles, the shared adrenaline rush of beating the clock – is sure to bond players with their teammates.

On a deeper level, escape rooms are like a microcosm of the workplace: how well the team works together is fundamental to the group’s success. With 60 minutes on the clock, you very quickly get to see how each player performs under pressure, whether they support those around them and keep their cool, how they communicate and solve problems.

We push the opportunities for learning to the maximum by offering a facilitator in our corporate packages. The facilitator observes the entire experience and then leads a debrief with the team in our meeting space to identify opportunities for development.

This aspect of the package is entirely optional so if your aim for the day is more fun than formal, we can tailor the escape room experience to suit you.

What to Expect on the Day

This is your experience and we pride ourselves on offering a range of solutions to suit everyone.
Ahead of the day, we will work out what it is that you want from the experience.

If you are looking for a structured learning experience with our facilitator, we will liaise with you to get a grasp of your company vision and values and any competency framework you’d like us to incorporate.

We can facilitate up to 24 participants across four rooms and have three escape scenarios to choose from. Work together to save the world from nuclear annihilation in Bunker, use group cunning to outwit a serial killer in Zodiac, or fight for justice and freedom in one of our two Prison Break rooms – which allows the opportunity for two teams of up to six to compete head-to-head at the same challenge.

Before entering the chosen escape room, teams will be briefed on safety and procedure. We record the entire 60-minute session, which the facilitator then uses to inform the debrief in the meeting room afterwards.

The debriefing is as important as the escape room experience because it provides such a powerful opportunity for individuals to reflect and get feedback from others. Guided by the facilitator, the team work out what they could have done differently and how they will move forward.

If you are skipping the facilitator and formal debrief, then it’s straight on to refreshments. We ensure that all guests are equally catered for, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and halal.

Fox in a Box London is passionate about supporting our local community and so we source all our catering from trusted local independent suppliers.

Who Would Benefit?

Really, who wouldn’t? There is something for everyone when it comes to escape rooms, the appeal crosses all ages, demographics and abilities – making it an inclusive activity for diverse workplaces.

Fox in a Box and AKD Solutions offer a cost-effective and fun way to encourage team building, communication, leadership skills and confidence.

If you are seeking a fun team-building activity that is as effective as it is memorable, an escape room is the answer.

You can use the escape rooms as a one-off experience or as part of a wider development programme. As well as team building, it is an effective and unique assessment tool for graduate, management, and/or leadership candidates.

We can work with you to identify which skills and behaviours you are seeking and then tailor the facilitator- led debrief to assist this.
